The photoacoustic gas detection technology based permeation testing equipment can be utilized in characterizing material parameters of rubber and plastic samples. It performs fast measurements of permeability, diffusivity and solubility coefficients for different gases or gas mixtures with high precision under widely variable experimental conditions. Applied pressures are selectable from the range of atmospheric pressures up to 500 bar, while temperature can be any value from room temperature up to 150°C.
