Sándor Beszédes PhD works as college associate professor at the Institute of Process Engineering of the University of Szeged Faculty of Engineering. His main research areas are the development of microwave intensified process, and the investigation of sludge treatment and utilization processes. 

Sándor Beszédes finished his undergraduate studies as Food technology engineers (BSc) in 2002, and graduated as Agricultural environmental management engineer (MSc) in 2006. He has worked at the Institute of Process Engineering at the University of Szeged Faculty of Engineering from 2002. From 2009 he worked for 6 month period at the University of Oulu as visiting researcher, his research activity covered the investigation and development of food industry wastewater purification method for SME’s. In 2013 he has won Jedlik Ányos predoctoral scholarship for 12 month. He obtained his PhD in environmental sciences in 2014 at the University of Szeged. From 2015, in the framework of Bolyai János Research Scholarship Program of the Hungarian Academy of Science he investigates the relationship between biodegradability indicators and dielectric properties of food industry sludge.
